Working Student IT Support and Administration (m/f/d)

Are you studying computer science and interested in computers, networks and new technologies? Are you often the first person your friends or family contact when they have an IT problem? Do you enjoy helping others, solving technical issues and working independently? Then we would like to meet you!

• Setting up and configuring new Windows computers and smartphones
• Providing technical onboarding for new employees and preparing the required IT equipment
• Supporting employees with hardware and software issues
• Analysing and resolving problems on users’ computers
• Providing first-level IT support
• Testing new functions, applications and system changes
• Maintaining IT asset and user documentation
• Supporting IT projects and other internal IT administration activities

You will work with the following systems and applications:

• Microsoft Active Directory
• Microsoft 365
• Microsoft Intune
• Google Workspace

• You are currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree programme in computer science, business informatics or a comparable subject with a strong IT focus.
• You have already progressed beyond the beginning of your studies and are ideally in at least your third semester.
• You have a technical understanding of computer hardware, operating systems, networks and common software applications.
• You already have some practical experience in IT support, system administration or technical user support. This may have been gained through a previous working student position, an internship, vocational training, university projects or your own IT projects.
• You have practical experience in setting up, configuring and troubleshooting Windows computers.
• Initial experience with Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Intune or Google Workspace is an advantage. You are not expected to have experience with all of these systems.
• Personal technical projects, such as setting up a home network, NAS, server or computer system, are an additional advantage.
• You work reliably, systematically and independently.
• You enjoy helping others with technical problems and can explain IT-related topics clearly and patiently.
• You take initiative, think ahead and have a hands-on approach.
• You have business-fluent German skills, both written and spoken, at a minimum level of C1, as well as good English skills.
• You are able to work regularly on site at our Leipzig office.
